Q. How do I book a tour?
A. Please apply through the RIDE JAPAN website. Advance payment by credit card is required at the time of booking.
Q. Can I book a tour the day before or on the day of the tour?
A. No. Reservations must be completed at least 7 days before the tour date.
Q. Is there an age requirement?
A. Participants must be 18 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license recognized for use in Japan.
Q. Can someone other than the person who made the reservation participate?
A. No. Only the person who made the reservation may participate.
Q. Can I participate with a passenger (two-up riding)?
A. Yes. A separate fee for riding with a passenger will apply.
Q. How do I book if I want to participate with two motorcycles?
A. You cannot book two motorcycles in a single reservation.Please make separate reservations for each motorcycle through the RIDE JAPAN website.
Q. Is it possible that the tour becomes fully booked after I reserve a rental motorcycle?
A. Yes. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and may become fully booked after you reserve a rental motorcycle.
In such cases, please cancel your motorcycle reservation directly with Arches Rental Motorbikes.
Q. Can I participate using a motorcycle from a rental shop other than Arches Rental Motorbikes?
A. No. Participation is only possible using motorcycles rented from Arches Rental Motorbikes.
Q. What happens if there are no motorcycles available at Arches Rental Motorbikes?
A. If a motorcycle cannot be reserved, participation in the tour will not be possible.
Q. Can I book by phone?
A. No. Reservations are accepted online only through the RIDE JAPAN website.
Q. I live in Japan. Can I still participate?
A. Yes. Residents of Japan are welcome to participate.
Q. Can I rent helmets, gloves, or ETC cards?
A. Please contact Arches Rental Motorbikes directly for details.
About the Tour
Q. Are there any additional costs besides the tour fee?
A. Yes. The following costs are not included in the tour fee:Motorcycle rental and riding gear

Expressway tolls: approximately JPY 5,000
Fuel costs: approximately JPY 5,000
Q. How many motorcycles can join one tour?
A. Participation is generally limited to up to 3 motorcycles.
However, the number of motorcycles may vary depending on the situation.
Q. Is there a dress code?
A. Yes. Participants must wear clothing appropriate for the season, with minimal skin exposure for safety.Participation while wearing shorts or sandals is strictly prohibited.
Clothing Guidelines
April–June: Mild weather (cool mornings and evenings)
Windproof jacket recommended
July–September: Very hot
Take precautions against heatstroke and sunburn; long-sleeve T-shirts recommended
October: Cool (cold mornings and evenings)
Windproof jacket recommended
November: Cold Thick jacket required
December–March: Very cold (possible snowfall)
Full winter protection equivalent to mountain snow conditions is required
Q. Can you store my luggage during the tour?
A. No. RIDE JAPAN does not provide luggage storage services.
Q. How long is the riding distance?
A. Depending on the route, the total riding distance is expected to be within approximately 350 km.
Q. Does the guide speak languages other than Japanese?
A. No. The guide speaks Japanese only.
Please use a translation app if necessary.
Cancellations
Q. How can I cancel my reservation?
A. Cancellation instructions are included in the reservation confirmation email sent by RIDE JAPAN.
Please follow the steps outlined in that email.
Cancellation fees apply. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for details.
Q. Can I cancel on the day of the tour due to illness or other reasons?
A. Yes. However, cancellation fees will apply.Please refer to the cancellation policy in the Terms & Conditions.
Tour Cancellation Due to Weather
Q. What are the cancellation criteria due to weather?
A. We make the decision based on the weather forecast from the day before.
As a general rule, the tour will be canceled if rain is expected all day or if strong winds (10 m/s or more) are forecast.
Please note that the tour may also be canceled if the weather worsens between the day before and the day of the tour.
Q. When will I be informed if the tour is canceled due to weather?
A. If a cancellation is decided, you will be notified by email by 1:00 PM on the day before the tour.If weather conditions worsen after that time, you will be contacted as soon as possible.
